Purpose
The aim of every article is to help an MSME owner understand how business finance works, so that they can prepare better and ask better questions.
Sources
- Rules about schemes and regulation are taken from primary sources wherever possible: the Reserve Bank of India, ministries of the Government of India, the Press Information Bureau, scheme portals and official gazette notifications.
- Every article lists its references. Statistics are used only when a source is cited.
- No content is copied from other publications.
Verification and drafts
- Scheme and policy explainers show a last verified date: the day their rules were checked against the official source.
- An article containing any policy detail that has not been verified stays a draft. Drafts are never published, listed in the sitemap or indexed.
- Worked examples use illustrative numbers and are labelled as such.
What is never published
- Any employer's confidential information, internal policies or customer data.
- Invented statistics, case studies, testimonials or results.
- Promises of loan approval, rates or subsidies, or promotion of specific lenders.
Writing tools
Drafts may be prepared with the help of software, including AI writing assistants. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by Biswajit Deka before it is published, and he is responsible for its content.
Updates and corrections
When a rule changes or an error is found, the article is corrected and its last updated date changes. Significant corrections are noted in the article. To report an error, use the contact page.
